Isagi proves it's Able to reach more customers in the mobility sector

An award-winning company, which provides unique anti-slip products, is strengthening its position in the mobility sector thanks to an agreement with a leading distributor.

From January 1 2015, Isagi Ltd’s innovative Stay Put range of daily living products will be sold by Able2, a company which has been supplying the retail market-place for 15 years.

Able2 specialises in the supply of aids for daily living in the homecare, pharmacy and online markets.

“We are thrilled by this agreement because it will increase our presence in the daily living sector,” said Isagi Managing Director Andrew Guilbert.

“The aim is to increase our market penetration but we believe this will also enhance the current product range of aids to daily living currently distributed by Able 2 while providing retailers with a one-stop shop for easy ordering.”

This agreement will cap a memorable year for Isagi which was crowned Innovative Business of the Year at the prestigious Buckinghamshire Business Awards in May.

The company has also attracted high-profile coverage for its calls to increase awareness over safety standards for non-slip bath and shower mats. And its special non-slip trays earned lavish public praise from WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport, and its local MP Cheryl Gillan.

Mr Guilbert added: “Our products have generally been very well-received and we have had a great year. However, our aim is now to push on and get even more customers to see what we do and why the Stay Put range is so good and innovative. We believe Able2 will be able to do just that for us.”

Isagi’s daily living products include: Antimicrobial anti slip bath and shower mats conforming to BS8445:2012 Level 1; StayPut performance PER® non-slip fabric for daily living; and Anti-slip trays which are anti-slip on both sides.

Mark Diaj, Managing Director of Able 2, said:  “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Andrew and the Isagi team. The Stay Put products are a wonderful addition to our comprehensive portfolio of aids to daily living and we are looking forward to increasing the awareness within the homecare retail market.”
