Linden Leisure – a key player in the walking sticks/seats market – is the newest addition to the Able2 brand of companies.
The family business, first set up by Brian Chanin in 1969 is a well-respected supplier of walking sticks, seat sticks and many other products focussed on the “walking aid” sphere and has continued in its speciality under the guidance of Brian’s children Guy and Julie at the helm.
Assembly, warehousing, distribution and corporate have been transferred from the scenic Cotswold countryside to the historically industrial Blackburn, and Able2 are excited to broaden their horizons and build relationships with customers old and new.
“We are delighted to be able to take on the Linden Leisure business” says Able2 UK Managing Director Mark Diaj, adding “a good proportion of the Linden Leisure range slots in perfectly with our current ranges of mobility aid walking sticks and we’re excited that this addition comes with the added challenge of branching out into even more potential audiences to build some great new relationships”.
Working across both the trade and the consumer remit, Able2 are now busy introducing these products to their current audiences and introducing themselves to Linden Leisure’s valued customer base.
As far as Linden Leisure are concerned, Guy Chanin comments “For Julie and me, passing the baton on to a company that has a keen interest in high quality products with an air of uniqueness to them has meant that we can now enjoy our retirement knowing that the business is in good hands.”
