This pair of elbow crutches (also known as forearm crutches) is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand, allowing for long-term; day-to-day use. Elbow crutches are more conducive to better posture than underarm crutches; therefore reducing the likelihood of back and neck strain that is commonly seen when axillary crutches are used.
The closed cuff design affords the user more security. By wrapping around the forearm, the crutch isn t easily dropped; even when the user lets go of the handle.
The elbow supports are height adjustable from 22-29cm and the crutches themselves can be adjusted from 72-96cm making them easily tailored for fit and comfort to most people.
As and when they need replacing, these crutches take a 19mm ferrule.
