The Timer Clock is an important part of any Disabled Blue Badge Parking Permit. Displaying the time of parking arrival, it should be shown alongside the Disabled Parking Permit itself in order to comply with parking regulations.

Complying with the latest guidelines from the Department for Transport, these Parking Permit clocks enable officers can quickly verify the user s arrival time alongside the validity of the badge. By fully complying with the guidelines and display process, the clock alongside the badge will help to protect the user from any potential penalties when parking in accessible bays or restricted areas.

The durable plastic dial prevents wear and tear even during daily use.

To use:
Spin the dial at the top of the clock until the display shows the correct arrival time.
Place the clock and the Parking Permit next to one another on the dashboard of the car
Storing the clock and the Parking Permit in a specifically designed holder is an ideal way to keep them both together and protected from any potential damage.

It is important to note that there may still be restrictions when using a Disabled Blue Badge Parking Permit and we would strongly advise that any user familiarises themselves with any potential restrictions that could override the validity of their Permit.

The Badge can only be used when the person to whom it is assigned is travelling as a driver or a passenger in the car in question; or where someone is collecting or dropping off the owner of the Badge and needs to park in a restricted area in order to fulfil this request.

When parking on on-street single or double yellow lines it is important to note that parking is permitted for a maximum of three hours, highlighting the importance of displaying the correct arrival time. The Parking Permit does not allow the user to park on yellow lines in off-street car parks.

If there restrictions on unloading or loading associated with yellow lines these will be indicated by dashed lines on the kerb or other signage then parking is not permitted even with a Disabled Parking Permit.

Not all Disabled Parking is free of charge: the Permit user should always check local signage and regulations before leaving their vehicle.
